Call for Abstracts - Submissions extended to 18 March 2024 

We have had an outstanding response to the Call for Abstracts with submissions from over 39 different countries and due to demand have extended the submission opportunity to now close on 18 March 2024 at 23:59 AEDT. 

Don't miss this opportunity to submit an abstract for consideration to be part of the Congress global scientific dialogue and share your research findings and work. We are seeking submissions for Oral Presentations, Poster Presentations, and Poster with Lightning Talks.

Presenting authors are limited to two abstract submissions, however, may be listed as co-contributors on other abstract submissions.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSIONS
Abstract submission is a two-step process.

Step 1: Creating an account and logging into the abstract submission portal
Click on the button above to access the abstract submission portal. To access the portal, we ask you to please set up an account to assist in the management and submission of your abstract/s for Congress.

Please select the ‘Create new account’ button and enter your preferred email address and password for your account log in details. Once logged into the submission portal please click on the ‘Your contact information’ tab at the top of menu bar and complete your contact details.

Once you have created an account within the abstract submission portal you can upload abstracts, edit abstracts that are still in draft, and review terms and conditions at any time, by logging in. 

Step 2: Submitting your abstract
Abstracts must be submitted by the presenting author who should complete all required fields. Click on the ‘Abstract submission’ tab and review the instructions. Use the template to present your abstract in the required format. Abstracts not submitted using this template will be returned for correction.

The template is available here and can be found above and in the abstract submission portal under the Abstract Submission Guidelines tab, please save the template to your desktop and complete it.  

You will be required to provide the following details prior to uploading the abstract file:  
- The abstract title
- Theme selections
- Author names
- Your completed abstract template 

Please complete each step within the portal and then select the ‘Submit’ button to successfully submit your abstract. Please note this button will show only when all fields have been completed. You can also choose to ‘Save as draft’ at any time. You can view all your drafts and successfully submitted abstracts in the ‘Your submissions’ tab.  Once your abstract is submitted correctly, you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive this email, your abstract has not been submitted. The abstract will be found under the ‘Your submissions’ tab and you will need to complete the missing information and submit it. Should you wish to delete or edit an abstract that has been successfully submitted you will need to contact the Congress Office via email to bmh2024@wsm.com.au.

ABSTRACT PRESENTER REGISTRATION
The invitation to submit an abstract does not constitute an offer to pay travel, accommodation or registration costs associated with the Congress. 

Presenters of accepted submissions for oral or poster presentations must register to attend the Congress in person and make full payment no later than May 31 2024.  If registration is not completed by this date, the offer for inclusion in the program will be withdrawn.

Registration is now open and we encourage you to take advantage of early bird savings on offer until May 31 2024.  For more information and to complete your registration please visit here. 

Presentations must be delivered in person and the ability and willingness to do so is a condition of acceptance into the scientific program.
