Family Support
FAMILY CARE
The Congress is pleased to offer a limited number of AUD$250 family care support
grants for those attending the Congress with small children to assist with travel or
care costs. To make an application, forward your details to the Congress Office
along with the age of your child/children and receipts for travel or care costs
incurred whilst in Melbourne. Applications will be accepted up until 7 October 2024.
You will be advised if you are successful by the Congress Office and payment
arrangements will then be finalised. Please send your application to

FAMILY FRIENDLY ROOM
Room 214 has been designated a family room to assist those who may be travelling with
young children. You are welcome to use this room and children must be accompanied at
all times. A live feed from the Plenary Room will be displayed on the screen
throughout the Congress so you can also view any presentations happening in the
Plenary Theatres.
The MCEC also has a Parents Room and the Customer Service Team at the MCEC
Information Desk can direct you to these facilities
